Sitting here in the parking lot after snapping some pictures of the empty beach before opening, planning on what to do the rest of the day (quite possibly waiting to attend the opening ceremony too at 1100), and I already see droves of people with inflatable tubes ready to hit the water! ?

Too cold for me. But, if that's your thing, have at it! ?

Nice skies to the west, but meaner to the east. I think the likelihood of rain is much higher, but I won't be around to see it.
