I thought that this would be interesting to share as the COVID-19 vaccine is already being distributed in the US.
Medicine in Japan is generally 10 to 20 years behind the States, so we shall see if the vaccine is rushed through as agreed upon or whether they will wait for more data and run trials.

I also own Pfizer stock, so this is better news for me.US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is the first supplier to seek approval in Japan for the use of its COVID-19 vaccine.
The Japanese government and Pfizer earlier reached a basic agreement. It stipulates the firm will supply enough vaccine to inoculate 60 million people by the end of June next year. Clinical tests have been underway in Japan since October.
