Just a heads up, this is all over IG and Facebook also. Someone or someones are poisoning and killing cats in the Chatan, Araha beach areas. There have been several dead cats found and the police are actively investigating them. If you live or walk your animals in that area be aware

That's awful!

I've taken my dog @Marron there a few times before the sporadic pandemic closures. She's so fast at grabbing something that I'm afraid to take her there now.

Is it known how they're poisoning them, i.e., are they leaving poisoned food behind as I suspect?

They have not said what being used as a poison or I can't sem to find a reference to it

Looks pretty bad. 35 cats are dead and dogs get sick just walking around the area.

There's definitely a place for people like that for sure...
