My children have been at OCSI for a year (mostly pre-COVID, but also with COVID). I recommend the school highly due to the personal attention and focus given by the teachers. No one gets lost here for sure. The curriculum is American school based, so it made for an easy fit when we moved to Okinawa. Not all Americans on Island can place their children in the DOD schools. If you find yourself in that situation, don't panic. OCSI is a perfectly viable option.
As far as COVID goes, there is a lot of remote learning set up and it was managed fairly well so far. Hopefully they will be able to proceed with in-school learning when possible.
One suggestion is that the school should have more activities and sports.
