This time last year, Umikaji Terrace would be full of people until closing and the windows of Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel lit, signifying full occupancy. The pandemic facing the world has resulted in a ghost town in many parts of Okinawa, from Kokusai Street to the outdoor shopping and eats area of Umikaji Terrace on Senaga Island.
