Heiwa Dori is a street off of Kokusai Street in Naha, also connected to Ichiba Hondori through Don Quijote and side alleys and roadways, that somewhat takes you back in time in Okinawa. There's just something special about walking Heiwadori, although it turning into a tourist area, with that ignored, that takes you back in time.
It could be the vendors, it could be the products—that, I don't know. I do know, however, when taking it, it just feels like I've gone back to a little late post-reversion Okinawa for some reason.
Did you now? Both Heiwadori and Ichiba Hondori are covered. This makes both streets a great escape if it decides to downpour. But don't feel stuck inside because it's raining, explore the place as you may find more!
