What we once took for granted as a means of passing time talking to friends and family is now something we can see we've taken granted of. These wires now signify the connections and relationships in this new world that we seemingly live in today, still connecting us, but without any real human connection.
For the most part, lines are just fine here throughout a typhoon. There are some outages, but this is only because a tree will fall and sever the line. Naha, or larger cities rather, tend to stand a better chance of not going without power or internet through an entire typhoon—even a violent typhoon (TY5) or super typhoon.
