PARCO CITY is not just another mall in Okinawa; it delivers much more than any other malls, mainly with the much important aspect of time saved getting there due to the congestion around Main Place and Rycom.
With that said, PARCO offers high-end brands and stores previously only seen at Okinawa Outlet Mall ASHIBINAA such as Lacoste, COACH, and Michael Kors.
Additionally, it brings Levi's and The North Face to a more convenient location.
Having an H&M more southern is a nice touch as well.
If you're in the market for a new Toyota, there's a dealership inside the front door too!
And, a fairly large exhibition hall where we're sure shows will be put on—Okinawa.Org will keep you up to date on those events.
Namely, though, to keep your kids occupied, there is a great location within PARCO called Asobi Park+.
Inside, you'll find "sandbag" forts, an imagination area, a huge bouncy pad, and squishy clay that will keep your young ones busy for a good while.
Oh, and if you have teens, send them to the NAMCO arcade next door or to United Cinemas to catch a movie in 4DX, IMAX, or ScreenX.
PARCO offers a great food hall with a large variety of options such as A&W, Steakhouse 88 Jr., and Baskin Robins; but, you can head to McDonald's on the first floor or head to the food terrace to enjoy some Pizza Hut Express or KFC.
The view from the food hall isn't half bad, either.
Alternatively, you can try out the Japanese version of Panda Express; or, a restaurant, if that's your style.
A nice feature of the PARCO CITY website shows you the parking capacity and the time of the sunset, quite possibly so you know when you can enjoy it in the "green zone" (5th-floor parking) open terrace facing the East China Sea without obstruction.
Whilst no longer able to claim to be the largest mall in Okinawa, it's not as open as Rycom is so you will still be overwhelmed with that feeling. PARCO is definitely worth a visit if you're in the Urasoe area and looking to window/shop around a bit.
